Hypnosis

What can hypnosis help correct?

- Those dealing with panic attacks or compulsive obsessive behaviors

I'd like help, but do not want to be made to do things that are silly or beyond my control?
Hypnosis is not as it is depicted in the media - no swinging watch or controlling of someone's mind.

Hypnosis is all about empowering you; it's not about making you do things. During a session you are always in control. The hypnotist simply helps to facilitate your experience. 

I want to lose weight. How many sessions will it take?
Hypnosis is a process, and is not a "quick fix". Multiple sessions may be required, depending on the severity of the phobia or addiction.

Weight loss programs are based on the amount of weight that is desired to lose. Carrie offers two types of weight loss sessions.

The 8-10 week program, is perfect for anyone desiring to lose 25 lbs. or less. This is a group program, usually made up of 3 or more people. This provides a support group of others who have similar goals and desires for themselves.

The 13 week program offers individuals one-on-one hypnosis sessions and is ideal for anyone choosing to lose 30 or more lbs.

How about smoking cessation, stress or pain management, or other issues? How many sessions will it take?
Session durations will vary depending on the progress of each individual.

 

Reiki 

Reiki is an energy healing. It is dealing with the universal life force energy. Reiki renews, balances, and cleanses our internal energy. The benefits can include: Balancing all energy on all levels (spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical). Releases stress, Increases Awareness, Increases creativity, Amplifies energy, works on all causal levels of disease and sickness, helps release emotions, and healing on all levels. Sessions last between 30mins to 1hr usually. There is only a hands placed on chakra points or any points that need healing. You stay fully clothed. I become the channel for Reiki to flow, the energy flows through you healing as you need it to. It can only help, never can hurt. During sessions you may feel heat coming from my hands, or cold. Or may feel a tingling sensation through your body, or pulsations. Everyone is different and sometimes you feel all of it in different places, and sometimes you may feel very little. But after the session you should tell that things are different. Or maybe your senses are heightened. For a person in need of major healing, or those who have never had healing, it is recommended to have 3 sessions close together, then a "tune up" occasionally after if sickness or stress builds up it can be done more often. Reiki is becoming more widely acknowledged in the medical world. As a matter of fact, I was recently told that the Catawba Hospital has Reiki practitioners who are on staff to perform healing for people at request. And, Dr Oz… the one on TV, he is a heart surgeon, and he has a Reiki practitioner at every surgery he does. It promotes faster healing, and the clients feel less pain.
